As you know, truffle hunting is now open in my country. I have gone for black truffle, but not good results. Few and little truffles. Summer hunting has been better.
Me, Mario and Piera have gone in Tuscan last week, to the friend Alessandro. We have hunting the white (Magnatum Pico) near San Miniato, one of the best place. Filù has not searched as she knows, for the present of many dogs (5 dogs – Alessandro 2 dogs) and because for 1 month she has not gone in forest. She wants play, not hunting. Mario has coming with a puppy for training, and Piera with her dog Pam. Mario not truffles, Piera one truffle.
Other thing for Alessandro. He has a fantastic dog (Jolie) , coming from Mario breeding, seven years old. She found 8/9 whites, not big but good smell.
Tomorrow I will go with Filù for white and black truffles hunting over the hills near me. I don’t know if I will find it, because yesterday and today many wind.

good smell quality, but very very small truffles. They are born into the steel (ground).
