Yesterday dawn I went with Filù hunting aestivum truffle. Weather: night rain, foggy day. Time fantastic for my dog!! Usually she is too fast but hot stop her. Today she will give dead to me. In fact fresh air give her more vitality (disaster for me follow her).
Truffle? Yes. Dog covetous? Yes. Truffler right? Yes. Hunting free: NO! But I'm an incorrect truffler.
Result: 0,9 kg. of black truffle ....... and big wash.
I bring home 83 truffles. Amusement for my dog. Good training for next Magnatum Pico hunting.
This year black truffle is not big as last two years, and found late. I think too rain in spring.
Question: in UK have you regulations to hunting truffle? You pay a permit? In Italy regulations for timing, for dog, for dig, for spade ecc....... and 93 euro for permit.
