Festival
I am at one and I hate it. My dogs are in prison and I wish I was at home with them. HorrId smells , and too many people all just ghastly . Not a good experience at all.
I like nesting in a tent and being with my friends

Summer truffles

really don't rate them. For a start they don't have a particular good flavour but secondly being close to the surface or even popping above, they are good fodder for slugs , even woodlice and spoil so quickly. The grapefruit sized whopper we found in a random garden has now turned to mush ( I couldn't muster the bravery to dig it) BUT there is hope because the same lawn is dotted with brulees which may bode well for the autumn / winter and the darkness may fill us with courage.
