inoculating orchard differreent methods and ingredients

Carried out in end of march 2024 on a well drained chalky loam poor soil, the inoculum was freeze dried some of the trees where inoculated with mix of high grade compost and perlite and original soil others no perlite and some no compost . They where marked for future reference 

I do feel inoculation with truffle spoor not worth while unless carried out to a high standard of dedication . I have seen little good result to date from surface scattering truffle or using a liquid application
